Ecology, Innovation, Tradition!
The southernmost property in the Rhône Valley, the Scamandre Vineyard, created in 2002 by Franck and Nadine Renouard , is located in the protected area bordering the Scamandre pond. Converted to organic farming since 2007, the 20-hectare estate pursues a strong approach to sustainable development.
A pioneering agroforestry program has been in place since 2010, with more than 1,000 trees and shrubs already planted in and around the vineyards. Harvesting is entirely manual.
Agroecology is the watchword for the owners of this estate. They produce wines in all three colors, including a red wine that graces the tables of many Michelin-starred restaurants.
Groups of up to 20 people accepted.
