A unique sensory experience!
Domaine la Bergerade is located halfway between Nîmes and Montpellier. The estate and its 30 hectares of vines in the Costières de Nîmes appellation overlook the Petite Camargue and its ponds.
In 2021, Jean-Pierre and Virginie bought Clos des Américains, gave it a new lease of life and renamed it Domaine La Bergerade, putting it in the spotlight.
The entire vineyard has been restored. All the vines are now cultivated with the greatest respect for the terroir to be certified Organic Agriculture in 2024 .
Benefiting from a very good southern exposure , our soil of rolled pebbles with a clay base allows us to reveal the identity of the wines of the southernmost vineyard of the Rhône Valley. Optimal sunshine, the cleansing mistral wind and the humidity generated by the nearby Camargue ponds allow the production of exceptional wines thanks to this microclimate and this exceptional terroir.
