This show presents a series of humorous, fierce, scathing and resolutely transgressive scenes on love and death. Each story features couples driven by an intense love affair which always ends in death: of her, of him or both! Dying by passion, by accident or by choice, such is the fate of all these touching, sincere and pathetic characters. They love each other or have loved each other, truly, deeply... until they die. In their madness or their dismay, they are endearing, surprising or frightening, but they always embody the diabolical avatars of our own personalities. The construction of the scenes is based on the same process: we do not know who is going to die, nor why, nor how, but we know that there is going to be a death. This systematic form creates a sort of rendezvous for the spectator and thus arouses in him impatience and surprise regarding the fatal outcome. This show is supported by an original musical phrase presented in several variations corresponding to the moods of the paintings.
