The wide open spaces of the Camargue!
In the Scamandre Regional Nature Reserve , discover at its visitor centre the natural, cultural heritage and human activities of the Camargue gardoise.
Amenities : Trails are laid out for loops of up to 4 km. At your own pace, you can move from one section to another without difficulty. Several sections are equipped with boardwalks for comfortable access over the marshes. Observation areas allow you to appreciate nature throughout the seasons.
The Discovery Center
Located on a 215-hectare site bordering the Scamandre pond, the "Regional Nature Reserve" discovery center organizes environmental awareness activities for all audiences. Walking trails allow visitors to explore areas dedicated to the preservation of local flora and fauna. A visitor center, a former sheepfold, offers exhibitions, videos, informational materials, and a gift shop. Guided tours for groups and educational programs for schoolchildren are also among the center's activities.
Trail access : Tuesday to Saturday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, closed on public holidays
A voluntary contribution of €5 is possible to help with the maintenance of the site.
Groups of 10 to 60 people, reservation required.
