The wide open spaces of the Camargue!
In the Scamandre Regional Nature Reserve , discover the natural and cultural heritage and human activities of the Camargue Gardoise at its reception center.
Services : Trails are laid out for a loop of up to 4 km. You can move from one trail to the next at your own pace. Several sections are equipped with stilts for comfortable access above the marshes. Observation areas allow you to appreciate nature throughout the seasons.
Capacity : Families Possibility of purchasing an accompanying booklet to download.
Groups of 10 to 60 people, reservation required.
The Discovery Center
On a 215-hectare site, bordering the Scamandre pond, the "Regional Nature Reserve" discovery center organizes environmental awareness activities for all audiences. Hiking trails allow visitors to explore environments dedicated to the preservation of flora and fauna. A reception building, a former sheepfold, offers exhibitions, videos, documentation, and a specialized shop. Guided tours for groups and educational activities for schools are also part of the Center's activities.
Access to the trails : Tuesday to Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., closed on public holidays
