In the heart of the Petite Camargue , between the coasts and the marshes , the Mas des Pointes in Franquevaux invites you to stay in its gîte "La Paillère".

This authentic place allows you to discover protected species, explore exceptional trails, follow the ViaRhôna , cross the costières and their wine estates, or even visit Camargue bull herds.

The farmhouse has a stable with 40 boxes, a tack room and arenas, offering you a unique immersion in Camargue life. You can admire bulls and horses, very close to your accommodation, and live to the rhythm of the local culture.

Ideally located 30 minutes from Aigues-Mortes and   Close to the beaches, you can also visit famous places such as the Pont du Gard and   the arenas of Nîmes .

Description:

The “La paillère” gîte is a spacious 80 m2 apartment, located on the 1st floor and adjoining another gîte, which can accommodate up to 6 people.

 

This cottage is composed of:

  • A living room with lounge, lounge area and fitted kitchen,
  • Two comfortable bedrooms, one with a double bed (140 cm) and a dressing room, the other with a double bed (160 cm) and a single bed (90 cm),
  • A mezzanine offering additional sleeping space with a single bed (90 cm),
  • A bathroom and separate toilet,
  • A balcony overlooking the shared swimming pool, perfect for relaxing at the end of the day.

 

Additional information:

  • Free parking in front of the property.
  • Possibility to discover the region by bike or car, with shops nearby.
  • Rental available by the week or by the night.

 

Horseback riding:

Every Monday at 5:30 p.m. and every Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. , Pascaline and Annie take you between Costières and Marais to discover a Camargue bull herd (breeding).
