This small port with 38 berths, 7 of which are reserved for stopovers, has been awarded the "Accueil Vélo" label. It enjoys an exceptional location on the Rhône à Sète canal, in the heart of the Petite Camargue and the Grand Site de France de la Camargue gardoise, at the foot of the Costières mountains and their vineyards.
Situated in the hamlet of Gallician, rich in its Camargue traditions and local products, 5 km from the Scamandre Regional Nature Reserve, it is the ideal starting point for exploring the authentic Petite Camargue.
Cyclotouristic loops, ViaRhôna, green ways, mountain bike paths, GR 653 on the Way of Saint Jacques de Compostelle, GR 42 from Pilat to the Mediterranean, paths in the heart of the ponds of the Regional Natural Reserve of Scamandre, or more than 120 km of marked paths accessible to all public labelled Gard Pleine Nature await you at the departure of the port.
If you are sporty, rather inclined towards nature, gastronome and greedy, or still eager to discover the Camargue traditions, the Tourist Office Coeur de Petite Camargue and the port have concocted some ideas of stopovers-discovery from the port which will take you to discover the Camargue gardoise and its richness.
